Deleting a Payment from a Deposit QuickBooks:

  • QuickBooks should be opened.
  • Go to the 'List Menu' section of the menu bar.
  • Choose Chart of Accounts from the drop-down menu. Chart of Accounts allows you to see all of the accounts in a company's file.

  • Select the check payment you'd like to remove from the deposit by clicking it.
  • Delete is the command. That payment will be deducted from that deposit as a result of this action.
  • Save it.

You can also create a report to receive access to specific deposit connections. Additional criteria are available in reports to help you narrow down your search. Recheck the transactions with your bank statement if this deposit was linked to a reconciled account.
