Pay attention to grammar, spelling and punctuation
Good Poetic Grammar and its accurate use will bring you 25% of the total score on the essay. Even simple suggestions need to write correctly! Moreover, the highest score that you can get for grammar in the "Letter" section on IELTS if you write just simple and complex offers, it's 4 (check here: IELTS Task 2 Writing Band Descriptors). If you set out to get more, learn how to use a wide range of grammatical structures (passive deposit, apparent offers, conditional offers, modal verbs, etc.), avoid errors and master the punctuation. Make sure every offer you written is complete.

Effectively use your time
As you already know, you will have 40 minutes to complete the task 2. Remember that the task 2 is twice as much as the task 1, and therefore you must make sure that you have enough time to write an essay. We recommend spending a minimum of 1 or 2 minutes to think about your ideas and how you will represent them. The last thing you need to do is move away from the topic. If focused on the ideas and stick to the plan, your essay will be very successful. After that, divide ideas on 3 or 4 paragraphs in a logical order.
