South Ural State Medical University is a higher medical education institution located in Ekaterinburg, Russia. The Ural State University was established in 1931 as the Sverdlovsk Medical Institute. In 1995 the Sverdlovsk Medical Institute was renamed the Ural State Medical Academy. In 2013 the Ural State Medical Academy was granted university status and renamed the Ural State Medical University. In 2014 South Ural University Russia was added to the list of the best higher education institutions in the Commonwealth of Independent States. Today the Ural State University has 1050 highly qualified teachers in 78 departments, who train 7800 students in 9 faculties. Ural State Medical University has provided more than 36,000 physicians to the world for 78 years.

Admission process

The admission process for the MBBS course at Ural State Medical University is as follows:

Step 1: Applicants should fill up the application form available online. They can send documents by email.

Step 2: Then they have to submit the school transcript, birth certificate, copy of the passport and transcripts of the records and other required documents.

Step 3: Students will receive an admission letter from the university upon submission of the above documents.

Step 4: Registration fee should be paid through University Account or Net Banking.

Step 5: The Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation will begin issuing official invitation letters to students for a study on confirming admission to their respective universities.

Step 6: Upon receipt of an admission letter from the Russian Federation, students must go to the Embassy / Consulate of the Russian Federation in your country.
